During her legal studies at University of Montreal, Daphné Allard developed a particular interest in labour relations and employment law, which convinced her to pursue her career as a lawyer in this field.
Prior to joining Loranger Marcoux, Daphné began her practice as a lawyer in the Legal Affairs Department at the Commission of Health and Safety Standards (CNESST). Throughout her two-year tenure at the Commission, she managed a large volume of complaints filed by employees under the Act Respecting Labour Standards. She represented the interests of her clients in conciliation and negotiation sessions as well as before the Administrative Labour Tribunal.
As part of her practice, Daphné provides strategic advice and guidance relating to all aspects of employment law and labour relations, as well as occupational health and safety.
