Stéphane Gaudet is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at Ottawa University and of the Polytechnique School of Montreal in Civil Engineering. He specializes in employment law and labour relations. Stéphane advises and assists employers in designing strategic planning for human resources and corporate reorganization of their businesses.

He regularly represents interests of major corporations and small and medium-sized businesses from both the public and private sectors during their negotiations of collective agreements.

Working jointly with his colleagues, Stéphane also represents employers in work-related conflicts, strikes or lockouts.

In addition, he represents employers before both the civil courts and administrative tribunals, including extraordinary applications to enforce restrictive covenants and the protection of commercial secrets.

Fellow practitioners frequently seek out his counsel on labour relations issues involving mergers and acquisitions of companies with either unionized or non-unionized work environments.

Stéphane frequently lectures on current labour law issues. He also teaches the class Management and the Collective Bargaining Agreement at the University of Montreal (HEC) as well as the class, Negotiation skills at Polytechnique.
