Since the creation of the Conseil des services essentiels and up until its transfer to the Labour Relations Board and then the Administrative Labour Tribunal, we have often intervened on questions regarding essential services, notably for public service corporations and institutions.

Our team has in-depth knowledge of the relevant provisions of the Labour Code, and the case law rendered pursuant to these provisions. 

Our interventions are related to remedial measures in cases of illegal strikes or pressure tactics that harm management’s capacity to deliver services, as well as ensuring the approval of lists of essential services during periods of legal strikes.
